ACDI/VOCA
ACDI/VOCA is pleased to announce that we have two new USAID Farmer-to-Farmer awards for projects in the Middle East and in West Africa. The Middle East FtF project will be based in Egypt with assignments also taking place in Lebanon. Egypt assignments will concentrate on horticulture and Lebanon assignments on livestock. We will be looking at production, processing and marketing in both. The West African project will be based in Ghana, with some additional assignments possible in nearby countries, and will focus on crops, horticulture and strengthening producer groups. Because these new awards are "Leader with Associate" instruments that provide for expansion, it is possible we will eventually be able to offer additional assignments in other locations. In addition ACDI/VOCA has projects in many other countries, and there will be occasional opportunities for volunteer assignments in various projects around the world.
