Raleigh International volunteers

Raleigh International, a sustainable development charity, works in partnership with communities, non-governmental organisations and governments in Borneo, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, India and Tanzania.

We recruit team leaders and volunteer managers (up to the age of 75) to support young volunteer teams and local communities to change their world for the better. For 8, 13 or 26 weeks you could be protecting vulnerable environments, providing access to safe water and sanitation, building resilience communities and inspiring young leaders.

You do not need experience of development or working with young people, just an open mind, commitment and a desire to drive positive change.

Since our foundation as a charity in 1984, Raleigh volunteers have become a global community of more than 36,000 people committed to building a sustainable future.
