AmeriSpan Study Abroad was created in 1993 by and for lovers of language immersion, study abroad and cultures.
Starting as a two person operation with a passion for travel, we have grown to be a leader in educational travel and Study Abroad with over 28,000 clients. We offer volunteer programs for participants of all ages and nationalities, in most countries in Latin America and various in Europe, Africa and Asia.
We have grouped our projects in different categories: Social (Community Service), Educational, Environmental/Zoological, Healthcare or Business/Professional.
Examples of projects are Hospitals, Orphanages, Centers for at-risk youth, Community Development programs, Women empowerment programs, Teaching/Teacher’s assistant, Nature Guides, assistant at a Micro-credit agency, HIV/AIDS relief and prevention programs, etc.
