Catholic Medical Mission Board’s Medical Volunteer Program seeks to place U.S. and Canadian licensed health care professionals at facilities in developing countries.
Primary needs are for physicians, surgeons, registered nurses, physical therapists, lab techs and other allied health professionals.
Volunteers are placed in Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, and Asia.
Depending on skill and location, the mission term may vary from two weeks to two years.
Room and board provided. Travel costs, health insurance and stipend provided for long-term volunteers.
