CRISAPZ was founded in 1984. We are a faith-based organization dedicated to the mutual accompaniment with the church of the poor and marginalized communities in El Salvador.
In building bridges of solidarity between communities in El Salvador and those in our home countries we strive together for peace, justice and human liberation. As an organization we are politically non-partisan and committed to non-violence.
One of the best ways to see if El Salvador is a place you may want to volunteer is to organize a delegation with family and friends. A minimum of seven people are needed to organize and trip and we have the capacity for as many as 15 in the group.
Spend 7-12 days learning about this developing country with themes such as Church of the Poor: Memory of the Martyrs, Economics for Peoples: Understanding Global Economic Reality in El Salvador, Rural Communities: Survival, Sustainability and Solidarity, Youth: Current Struggles, Future Hopes to see where your heart is captured.
If you desire more, we have a short term (3 month) and a long term (15 months) volunteer program.
