Global Mamas, founded by Kristin Johnson and Renae Adam, works to achieve economic independence of women and alleviate poverty at a grassroots level in Ghana, West Africa through the sustainable growth of small women-owned businesses.
As an international volunteer organization, we combine meaningful international volunteer programs with valuable volunteer assignments that help African women gain economic independence.
Through short-term “volunteer vacations”, participants are able to use their skills to help others and make a difference in the future of women and their families in Africa.
Volunteer positions are available for people with a variety of skills: business, marketing, fashion/jewelry design, accounting/finance, computers, graphic design, writing and more!
